The School of Architecture has joined with the Office of Continuing Education (OCE) to improve the quality of the continuing education program for architects and other building professionals. This cooperative venture provides several alternatives for architects and other building professionals.

PREPARATION for the ARCHITECT REGISTRATION EXAMINATION

The Architect Registration Examination (ARE) is a very important threshold for entry into the profession. The following courses are offered to help in preparing for the General Structures and Lateral Forces portions of the ARE. These courses are offered in conjunction with Prepa-r-e, Inc.

2006-2007 Smart Energy Design Assistance Center Courses

The Smart Energy Design Assistance Center (SEDAC) provides technical services for business owners in Illinois and Missouri interested in energy saving ideas. The Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) with additional funding from the U.S. Department of Energy’s Rebuild America initiative has established the Small Business $mart Energy (SB$E) program to provide energy efficiency technical services just for you. These services include assistance in identifying opportunities for energy savings through intelligent building design and efficient building components and systems.
