Design Juries on Trial: The Renaissance
of the Design Studio (NY: Van Nostrand Reinhold,

of design education. It provides a guide for students to master the design
jury and design studio both in school and in practice. It involves surveys,
interviews, observations, and diaries of over 900 participants: students,
faculty, and practitioners. Among those interviewed were 30 award-winning
designers, including Peter Eisenman, Michael Graves, E. Fay Jones, Cesar
Pelli, Cynthia Weese, and others. If you would like to receive information
